The "Still Ute Pass" Project

The original 'Still Project' was an art experience conceived by Manitou Art Center Managers and Curator Alain and Maria Navaratne.  As a way of extending the 'Still Project' to the wider community, the MAC graciously offered myself and Green Mountain Falls resident Ron Hamilton the opportunity to bring the 'Still Project' to the Ute Pass area.   Families and individuals in the Ute Pass area were photographed, at no charge, by their windows, doors and decks while respecting social-distancing guidelines. The original MAC concept was to take these images of citizens, separated from each other due to COVID-19 'Stay At Home' orders, and ultimately bring everyone together through the powerful medium of  large-scale outdoor art. It is our hope that the future opening of the show would include a selection of individual photographs displayed in a Ute Pass venue (to be determined) once the current COVID-19 crisis has abated and it is safe to gather together again.

Until then, however, photos from the 'Still Ute Pass' Project will be posted here.

As a way of saying THANK YOU for your participation, I'm giving all families who want their original image (without the 'Still Ute Pass' footer) a FREE digital copy! Simply email your request, along with your family name to: bohemianblu@gmail.com  Once I have received your email, I will send you your digital copy.

If you would like to purchase an official 'Still Ute Pass' print, you may contact me directly for pricing.

Thank you again for your participation and support of this amazing project! I look forward to working with you all again as we navigate these unprecedented times.

Sincerely, Misty Blu
